Ease of handling
Twin wheel ploughs for 180 - 600 horse power tractors are popular, because there is less loading on the tractor hitch.
For use on land and in furrow
These ploughs are capable of working in furrow when the ground is wet
Tight turning circle
The articulated headstock provides a 110 degree turning circle. The turnover at the headland is controlled via a rack and pinion system.
Configuration
These ploughs have a 180x180 mm main beam expanding to 260 x 180 mm after the headstock. They have different security systems and clearances available.
SPSL - contour following
The SPSL offers basic contour following allowing the rear plough to 'float'
SPEL - full electronic control
The SPEL offers the ability to plough with either the front plough (for uphill or wet headlands), the rear plough (for headland ploughing) or both (normal use). Control is possible in cab via a simple electronic control box.
Manual working width adjustment
The adjustment of the working width is performed manually with 6 positions (12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22 inches)
Large choice of options
As on other ploughs in the Grégoire Besson range there is a wide choice of wheels (depth adjusting, transporting, combined etc.) as well as mouldboards and skimmers.
