Semi-mounted, reversible, compact ploughs with single wheel: SPL9, SPLW9

Ease of handling

Single wheel ploughs for 130 - 400 horse power tractors are popular, because there is less loading on the tractor hitch.

For use on land and in furrow

These ploughs are capable of working in furrow when the ground is wet

Tight turning circle

The articulated headstock provides a 110 degree turning circle. The turnover at the headland is controlled via a rack and pinion system.

Configuration

The 180 x 180 mm reinforced beam has a unique, patented "Z" profile to bring the wheel closer to the plough.
This improves stability during operation and transport and increases manouverability at headlands. Wide wheels (over 1.10 m diameter) , are available for heavy soil conditions.

SPL9 - manual working width adjustment

On the SPL9 the adjustment of the working width is performed manually with 6 positions (12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22 inches)

SPLW9 - variable working width

The SPLW9 allows the working width to be adjusted hydraulically, on the move from the cab, from 12 to 20 inches. It can be used on any tractor with any wheel width.

Large choice of options

As on other ploughs in the Grégoire Besson range there is a wide choice of wheels (depth adjusting, transporting, combined etc.) as well as mouldboards and skimmers.
